About the Opportunity A healthcare organization on Long Island is actively seeking a Spanish-speaking, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a promising opportunity with their growing medical team.
In collaboration with the Primary Care Physicians, the Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) will be responsible for providing a full scope of primary care services, including but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.

Company Description Healthcare Organization Job Description The Bilingual Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will: Obtain and document patient history as appropriate to chief complaint or reason for visit Conduct relevant physical exam and evaluate patient, documenting pertinent positive and negative findings Diagnose and treat disease and manage chronic illness Prescribe medication in accordance with NYS and Federal law Order appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or tests; interpret results Provide preventative health services, including health education and counseling Collaborate with other Clinicians and staff members to ensure continuity of care of patients Perform other job-related duties, as required Required Skills 1+ year of experience in an Advanced Practice setting Master's Degree in a related field Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program registered by the New York State Education Department and/or Graduate of a Physician Assistant (PA) program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license Bilingual (English and Spanish) Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration Active Medicare / Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills BLS and/or ACLS certifications

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
